Gabriel's journey into coding began at just 10 years old, crafting his first "Hello, world!" in BASIC. By the time he was in college, Gabriel had already secured his first professional role, diving into full-stack development with a focus on building responsive websites and streamlining business operations at CodeWork Venezuela.
His technical acumen quickly led to leadership roles at Totalcom Venezuela, where he spearheaded projects that modernized digital platforms and enhanced system efficiency. One of his most impactful projects, CURTIS, was a mobile app designed to assess cardiovascular health using machine learning—an endeavor that marked Gabriel's entry into healthcare software engineering.
Throughout his career, Gabriel has led development teams at CobuildLab and TheoremOne (now Formula.Monks), where he contributed to high-profile projects like resident.io (now roomchoice.com) and SNY.tv's major revamp at Zemoga, driving significant increases in user engagement and revenue. His expertise extends to refining development processes, optimizing codebases, and mentoring emerging talent.
Outside of work, Gabriel is a passionate musician, often found jamming on the piano or guitar, and a dedicated lifelong learner with a keen interest in new technologies, physics, and cosmology.
