Lab Integration: Streamlining Your Workflow
Introducing our new lab ordering feature in partnership with Vital. You can now seamlessly order lab tests directly within Aster, saving you time and ensuring a smoother process for both you and your patients. Currently, lab tests are walk-in at nearby centers, with LabCorp and Quest being the most popular options. You can select preset panels and tests, with prices displayed at the time of ordering. Lab results will auto-populate into the patient’s lab section, ensuring you have all the information you need in one place. For cash-pay lab tests we have secured lower than standard pricing, payments will be billed to you at the end of each month, simplifying the billing process.

IPP + Newborn Charting: Precision When It Matters Most
Our IPP (Immediate Postpartum) and Newborn Charting feature is designed with your workflow in mind. We know that once the baby is born, your work is just beginning, no matter how many hours you’ve been supporting a laboring patient. Our side-by-side charting tool and resuscitation window with NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) protocol are here to assist you as you stabilize your patients postpartum.Side-by-Side Charting: Developed by our providers for our providers, this tool allows you to view parent and baby assessments at a glance. No more toggling between screens to chart both placenta and newborn vitals—they’re now side by side, along with everything you need to support your patients efficiently.
• Resuscitation Window: NRP in out-of-hospital settings requires precision and well-honed skills. Our provider-designed resuscitation window guides you through NRP protocols with prompts and a timer, while also providing space to document EMS activation, all within a single screen.
• Postpartum Templates: Our streamlined postpartum template ensures that all critical elements are included, making charting quicker and more comprehensive.
E-Prescribe: Send Scripts Using Aster
We’re pleased to announce that E-Prescribe via DoseSpot is now available. This feature reduces the time spent jumping between platforms to get patients their prescriptions, allowing providers to focus on what truly matters—patient care. Whether it’s measuring bellies, answering patient questions, or even fitting in a post call nap Aster is here to unburden providers of unnecessary work. It’s incredibly affordable at $47.00 per month per provider.
