Careers

At Aster, we share a vision inspired by the pioneers of maternal health care. We envision a future where innovative technologies and advancements in care can protect the well-being of expectant parents and predict potential complications. These healthcare pioneers imagined a future where technology could support people by assisting clinicians in diagnosing and monitoring the safety of birthing individuals and infants, as well as providing innovative technologies and medicines for treating diseases during pregnancy.

Interview Process

We ensure that our interview process is efficient and ensures your time is respected. We keep our total interview time to around 3-4 hours in total. We also make decisions quickly so you’re not left wondering and waiting what’s next. A typical Aster hiring process looks like this:
• Intro chat (30mins) - A casual video call to get to know your background better and share more about Aster. This is your opportunity to explain your background and bring light to your CV in your own words. It’s also a great opportunity to have your burning questions answered.
• Technical interview (90mins) - This is a more structured interview, we begin by asking you about different experiences gained at prior roles and take a more linear approach to your career history. We then explore some of the work you’ve done previously, please don’t prepare anything new for us just share some prior work you’re proud of.
• Team Meet (30mins) - In the final interview we head back to a more casual setting and you get to meet the broader team, in particular the clinical team who you’ll be working closely with to develop experience for our customers. This interview will be two-way, you get to ask us questions and we get to cover things we wanted to double click on.
• References - If everything looks great we’d love to talk to a former employer of yours as a reference, this helps us understand what makes you work best and how we can support you at Aster. We’re not trying to catch you out, simply learn more about your work style.
• Offer. We’ll discuss our offer with you as well as logistics if required, such as traveling to the office or relocation needs. We will also send out a link for a quick and easy background check.
