About Aster
Aster is a rapidly growing health tech startup that focuses on improving maternal health outcomes. We provide women's health providers with simple, intuitive tools to open, run, or scale their clinics and provide the best care to their patients. Our cloud-based SaaS platform uses data analytics and machine learning to optimize clinical workflows and improve patient outcomes. We're also developing a mobile app for patients to connect with providers, take at-home lab tests, and learn about their pregnancy journey.
Who we’re looking for
We are expanding our engineering team and seeking talented individuals who are passionate about using technology to make a positive impact on healthcare. We are looking for software engineers with experience in web technologies and mobile app development (full stack, front-end, and back-end), as well as familiarity with healthcare technology. Having experience with HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy and security is a plus.
What you’ll be building
You will be joining a very early-stage startup with a small, lean team focused on rapid development. You will have ownership over the foundation of our provider desktop web app and patient mobile app, including features such as scheduling appointments for in-person or telehealth visits, messaging, remote patient monitoring, clinical forms and documentation, and a library of patient education content.
